Heyday Bridal FAQs

Well hello, you gorgeous bride-to-be, you – Megan here! Are you interested in booking Bridal Styling at The Atelier, but you still have more questions? No worries, I’ve got you covered! Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions I’ve received from brides. My goal is to make the booking process as simple as possible… I know wedding planning can be stressful, so let me help take some of the load off!

How do I reserve my wedding date?

I reserve on a first-come first-served basis and require a 30% non-refundable retainer and signed contract to secure your wedding date.

How many people can you accommodate?

I will do my best to provide the appropriate number of stylists to accommodate your entire party based on the time you need to be ready for photos.

Do you charge for an assistant?

Yes, but I don’t always need one. If you have more than 6 people in your bridal party (including the bride), I will need an assistant. There is a one time fee of $200 for an assistant.

What is included with Bridal at Heyday Collective?

Heyday Bridal includes luxury bridal styling with exclusive salon privacy, or on-site styling at your venue within 45 miles. You have the exclusive opportunity to bring your photographer, videographer, and makeup artist to our space. Getting ready in our private space is possible for an additional fee of only $150. Don’t be shy to have catered refreshments while getting ready.

Can I have a trial before I book?

Absolutely! I know booking hair for your wedding is an investment and you want to make sure we are a good fit! Keep in mind that each Bridal Trial is $160 per 120 minute appointment.

Do you travel?

For on-site styling at your venue, I will travel a complimentary 10 miles from the salon, and beyond 10 miles for a rate of $1 per mile with a maximum distance of 45 miles. However, if your venue is over 45 miles, please reach out and I may be able to accommodate for an extra charge.

When should I schedule my trial?

The trial should be scheduled as close to your wedding date as possible. I recommend 30 days or less prior to your wedding.

What happens at the trial?

At the bridal trial appointment, you’ll be able to sample different hair styles. My hope is that we will find the perfect style that is detailed and catered to you! I will take photos to ensure satisfaction on your wedding day.

Can I play my own music at the salon while getting ready?

Absolutely! I’m a firm believer that the music sets the tone for your emotions. Definitely put together a playlist of your favorite tunes for that morning and let’s bust a move!

Should anyone join me at the trial?

While we love our friends and family, they also can be the most opinionated people we know! I suggest coming alone to your trial, and don’t worry – we will get plenty of pictures to show your friends and family. I want to know what YOU want, not what great aunt Sally wants!

What should I bring to the trial?

Please bring all hair jewelry, veils, hair extensions, or any other accessories you might be wearing in your hair on your wedding day. I also recommend wearing a white shirt, and having your makeup done. This will help us capture the full look!

That’s it! Still not finding the answers to your questions? It’s okay, I’m here for you! Feel free to email me at bridal@heydaycollective.com with your questions, or just go ahead and visit our Bridal page to inquire about your wedding date, and we can go from there! I’m so excited to hear about your big day!
