I couldn't wait to be in control of my guest experience, and to provide only the services I wanted to provide.
But, while studio-ownership provided a certain level of freedom, I still found myself wishing I could change things about the environment my clients were walking into each time they arrived for an appointment.

Why I started Heyday Collective
I remember when I first moved into a studio after working in a salon. I was so excited to have something of my own.
Half the time, clients didn’t know where they were going when they walked in or got lost in a corridor of doors trying to find me.
The change in decor and music from one studio to the next felt abrasive and was not at all the vibe I wanted my clients to experience from the moment they walked in.
It wasn’t the experience I wanted to provide. I knew there was a better way.
So I committed to creating it for other stylists.
